More Info about the Hands
The Left Hand, L.H.
aka Louie “Low Hand Louie”
Louie primarily plays chords and rhythm on the lower left half of the piano, mainly covering Series One and Series Two. Everything to the left of Middle C. He's always playing the low notes on the bottom half of the grand staff.
Remember: Low Left Handed Louie, low sounding notes, bottom half of piano grand staff, Low Hand Louie owns the bottom Bass Clef. Thumb finger number 1, counting outwards with the pinky number 5.
The Right Hand,
R.H. aka Roger “Top Treble Roger”
Roger covers everything to the right of Middle C. The Top Treble Clef, home of Series Three and C Four. Roger ranges the top half of the grand staff, the right half of the piano keyboard.
Roger routinely plays melody with the right hand, Roger owns the Treble Clef, and all the high pitch notes. Series Two, Three, Four and Five. Roger plays all the Treble Clef notes in the top half of the grand staff. Thumb is also 1, counting outward to pinky number five.
Always Use Correct Finger Numbers with both hands. Learn, and Practice Correctly every time starting from the beginning.
