My Research

My research aims to reveal experiences of information literacy in higher education for the
purpose of informing pedagogic practices that better enable students to engage with information as they learn.
My studies explore aspects of information literacy from various higher education perspectives. For example, my currently projects investigate information literacy and information literacy pedagogy in specific learning contexts, such as the undergraduate classroom and a faculty development program, as well as by studying how information literacy may be manifest within university curricula.

I am an associate professor in the Libraries at Purdue University and received my PhD from the Gateway PhD program jointly offered by San Jose State University and Queensland University of Technology
