Dr Hynes began life as a TPD in 2013 from the beginnings of City VTS as an independent scheme. He is a GP in Sandwell and trains GP Registrars from Dudley VTS. FRCGP 2016, he continues to practice as a happy GP, Trainer and Mentor!
Jamie is the current Chair of RCGP Midland Faculty.
A former RCGP Regional Ambassador for the Black Country, RCGP Midland Faculty Honorary Secretary & Vice-Chair, Jamie was awarded the inaugural RCGP Faculty Champion award in 2022.
A published illustrator & content creator, Jamie's artwork has featured in GPfrontline, InnovAiT and within RCGP Annual Conference. Four of his videos have featured at conference, The National Health (2015), GPKipling (2019), Start The Fire (2021) and GPs a Wonderful Life (2024).
He has illustrated Roger Neighbour's The Inner Physician (2016) & Consulting in a Nutshell (2021).

Dr Hassan was appointed to City VTS in 2018. He is a trainer in South Birmingham and a Geordie by birth.

Dr Butler has been a GP in West Birmingham since 2001, GP Trainer since 2005 and TPD since 2021.
He has been an Educational Supervisor to over 20 Registrars. Much of his training was at City Hospital Trust. He is a personal tutor for Aston University and is an RCGP Mentor. He has worked in commissioning and system change for the last 10 years predominantly supporting GP and Primary Care Network development. Locally he runs Modality’s Grand Round Programme. He is a keen road cyclist, father of 3 and dog owner.

Dr Marok graduated from Barts & The London. A GP Trainer in West Birmingham, she also supervises FY2s & medical students. She is a GP Partner, Appraiser and Practice Manager in Edgbaston, and has had clinical lead roles within Sandwell & West Birmingham and Black Country CCGs, having been GP Director & Chair of Quality & Safety Committee.
Dr Marok became a TPD in 2018, working in Sandwell, then Walsall before she transferred to West Birmingham VTS in 2023

Dr Kang has been a GP in Birmingham City Centre for many years, (too many to count!).
She was a Birmingham graduate and completed her GP training in Birmingham/Solihull and the Black Country. She has been a Trainer for 15 years, and is also a GP Tutor for Aston University and the University of Birmingham.
She has 2 children and she loves to swim.
Dr Kang has transferred to West Birmingham VTS in 2023.
