How to reach Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra is well connected with rail/road. The Kurukshetra Railway Junction is on Delhi-Ambala section. It is situated on National Highway No. 44 connecting New Delhi to Ambala. The approximate distance of the place is 160 km from Delhi and 100 km from Chandigarh. Pipli is the place on NH-44 to get down for NIT-KKR  and a 10 km drive by Auto or Cab takes one to NIT-KKR. Nearby airports are Chandigarh and New Delhi. There are regular buses from ISBT Kashmere gate, Delhi to Pipli (G.T.Road Kurukshetra). To reach NIT-KKR from Pipli /Railway Station, hire an auto-rickshaw to NIT Kurukshetra. Auto-rickshaw charge from Railway station to NIT-KKR is Rs. 120- 150.
