Create a storyboard that helps you visualize the given topic. I will use the Enlightenment as a working example here. For the first storyboard I highly suggest you discuss the historical circumstances of the Enlightenment using 2-3 slides, describe the Enlightenment using 2-3 slides and describe the impacts of the Enlightenment using 2-3 slides. The storyboard should have AT LEAST 6 slides but assignments may require more. PLEASE NOTE DOING FEWER SLIDES IS OFTEN MORE DIFFICULT AS YOU STRUGGLE TO DECIDE WHAT TO CUT OUT. If you need to use 9 slides to do a thorough job, make 9 slides.
You will need to turn in both your rough draft on the template and your completed project. The completed project should be on full sized sheets of paper and include both the required information and visuals that illustrate the writing. Please see the Storyboard Rubric for requirements.
In the box place an image that goes with your text below. Each box/text pairing represents one "board/slide." Please remember, vegetables before dessert! Do the part you have to do before you do the part you want to do. You first need to write the text. Text should be about 3 sentences describing an element of the topic. It can contain background information, a definition and/or explanation of the topic. The image should relate to the writing AND make it easier to visualize and understand. Don't just plop down a picture to have a picture. Pick one that helps ANCHOR your knowledge.
Use your Storyboard Template to create full page versions of your storyboard. Each board/slide should be one page within your storyboard. Don't forget that you MUST have analysis within your storyboard. Analysis requires explanation of connections and can be an explanation of how or why information is significant.
