My research is in algebraic geometry, with a focus on Bridgeland stability conditions, derived categories, and moduli spaces. I use categorical and stability-theoretic methods to study projective varieties, birational geometry, and hyper-Kähler geometry.

I am Professor of Mathematics at the University of Warwick and a Royal Society University Research Fellow. Before joining Warwick, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh from 2014 to 2017, under the supervision of Arend Bayer.
I received my PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign in 2014 under the supervision of Tom Nevins, and my BA from Peking University in 2009, under the suipervision of LIU Zhangju. I held a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at Warwick from 2017 to 2020.
