Annual Shoot-A-Thon

The CHS Shoot-A-Thon is the major fundraiser for the girls’ basketball program and consists of shooting 100 free throws at one of our practices. All proceeds directly help the CHS girls' basketball program in ways that the school cannot support. It is the goal of the program to only ask and collect money every other year, which means an athlete would only have to ask family and friends twice in their high school career. In the past, the money has been put towards:

Varsity/JV Summer Tournament Dues

The athlete with the most made free throws out of 100 is recognized with a plaque on awards night and added to the list of winners in the CHS display case.
