Education background

Having completed the European Baccalaureate in Brussels, I studied economics (BA), then international relations and European studies (MA), and eventually politics and religion (PhD) at the University of Kent. 

Research

I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pacifism and Nonviolence, an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal launched in 2023 with Brill.

Teaching

I have been a Higher Education teacher since 2005. In 2010, I joined Loughborough University as a Lecturer (then Senior Lecturer, now Reader) in Politics and International Relations (initially Politics and History). I have been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2011, and a Senior Fellow since 2020.
