About me

Welcome, I am a professor at FAU (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg), where I am the head of the Chair of Global Governance and International Trade. From 2015 to 2018, I held a professorship for economics at the University of Salzburg (Austria) and served as deputy director at the Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS). I am also a research fellow at the CESifo, Munich (Germany), and at the Labor and Socio-Economic Research Center (LASER), Nuremberg (Germany), research professor at ETH Zurich, KOF, and a member of the Comittee on International Economics of the German Economic Society. I hold a PhD in economics from the University of Mainz (Germany). As a post-doc, I enjoyed an excellent research environment at ETH Zurich, KOF Swiss Economic Institute (Switzerland).

Main research interests: International economics, trade and labor, trade policy, political economy and applied econometrics.
