Christopher is a New Hampshire science teacher, dad, poet and organizer. He was a member of the Slam Free or Die Poetry Slam team in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2023. Christopher is a six-time grand slam champion at the venue. He is the author of more than a dozen chapbooks, and his work has appeared in Plants and Poetry Journal, Sylvia, Bureau of Complaint, and New York Quarterly. He has competed in slam at the national level seven times, was a two-time finalist in the NPS haiku slam and winner of the 2024 Northbeast Regional Haiku Slam and 2024 Blackberry Peach Haiku Slam. In 2024 he was selected to compete in prestigious Ill List Poetry Slam in Modesto. His first full-length book of poetry, Photosynthesis and Respiration, is now available from Silver Bow Press.
