Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Christine TN Wong studied Chinese language and literature before pursuing her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Simon Fraser University, Canada. Her research interests include Cantonese, Chinese philosophy, tea culture, transformative learning, and lifelong education. As an independent consultant and educator supporting culture and language education, Christine is also a Certified Tea Master and cultural photographer. Today, she brings together language, photography, tea, and a range of creative and cultural practices in an evolving journey of learning and discovery. 

From 2002 to 2014, she offered Chinese language and culture classes through TOC Chinese Program 拓思中文課程. Over the years, her work has grown across places, disciplines, and ways of engaging with people and their stories.  She is currently engaged in projects including the cantonese project, WALK chinatown 游走唐人街 and Leaf Behind 不留居.

In 2026, Christine established Christine TN Wong Studio 黃工作室  — a space where photographs, ideas, and ongoing work come together, creating room for connections, inspirations and possibilities.
