Welcome to my homepage!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Vienna.

After receiving my Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim, I worked as a Post-Doctoral and Research Associate at New York University Abu Dhabi.

I am a behavioral economist who has mainly used the experimental method to analyze problems in public and labor economics, but I have also worked on auction theory and applied state-of-the art econometric techniques in my papers.

Much of my work has been concerned with cooperation and pro-social behavior, but more recently I have also become interested in bounded rationality. For each of the two areas, I have one job market paper
