Scale Models and Data

The D-Region Tomahawk is a classic NASA sounding rocket flown in 1968. I created a CAD model based on the Howard Kuhn drawing published in the June 1971 issue of Model Rocketry magazine. The CAD model is available in SolidWorks, IGES, and STEP format. See the attached files below.

Starchaser 5/Thunderstar. The Starchaser 5 launch vehicle and Thunderstar capsule were entered by Starchaser Industries in the X Prize competition. The vehicle was never constructed or flown. Therefore, this vehicle qualifies for the Concept Scale event.

Aries was powerful sounding rocket developed using the 2nd stage from retired Minuteman I missiles.
