ChipHydra was born out of my curiosity with the 8bit sound. I've always thought keygen music was the catchiest thing ever, and one summer I listened through dubmood and Goto80's discography several times, just in awe at what could be created with so little. I was an avid reader over at Goto80's blog and he mentioned something about Bit Shifter, from there I found 8bitpeoples, listened to Information Chase and my mind was blown. I bought an LSDJ cart later that year because I just couldn't resist the temptation of trying out that sound.

11 Shows, 2 albums, and an EP later, I felt like I was done with this project. ChipHydra will live on as a great part of my life. I'll never forget it, or the people i've met along the way. I can't thank all of you enough.

I've never really felt satisfied with my music unfortunately. I'm not sure what i'd like to do musically these days, but hopefully i'll figure it out. I'm just a kid with my whole life ahead of me!
