Brief Bio: Dr. Chinmoy Kundu is a Senior Scientist at Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork (UCC). Prior to that, he was a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Industry RD&I Fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University College Dublin (UCD), Dublin, Ireland as a PI and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie EDGE Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Mark F. Flanagan at the same university.  He was also an external module lecturer at University College Dublin and Maynooth University, Ireland. He was an Assistant Professor (DST Inspire Faculty) at Indian Institute of Technology  Jammu (IIT Jammu) before taking up the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. He has held a Royal Society Newton International Fellowship at Queen's University Belfast, UK, under the guidance of Prof. Trung Q. Duong, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Octavia A. Dobre  and Assoc. Prof. Telex Ngatched at Memorial University, St. John's, Newfoundland,  Canada. He successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis on 27th March 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Ranjan Bose from Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi). He received his M.Tech. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) with JRF-GATE fellowship from CSIR. He obtained his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology under the West Bengal University of Technology. Prior to joining his M.Tech degree, he briefly worked at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. as an Associate System Engineer.
