I am an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). Prior to joining the NCKU in 2019, I was a postdoctoral fellow in the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston. I received my B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from National Chengchi University in Taiwan and M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Houston in the United States.

My fields are comparative politics, American politics, and research methods. Specifically, my research interests focus on political behavior, public opinion, political psychology, political institutions, and Asian politics. I have published articles in such scholarly journals as Democratization, Electoral Studies, International Political Science Review, Japanese Journal of Political Science, Party Politics, Social Science Quarterly, The Social Science Journal, Taiwanese Political Science Review and other journals. I have also written a number of technical reports for regional public and private sector entities.
