"The small artists of the Children's Gallery of Greece are inspired by the completion of the 160th anniversary of the World Hellenic Pioneering of the First Contemporary Olympic Games of 1859 and they are painting works devoted to Olympia of the 19th century, drawing light and color from the glamor of Zappeion Megaros."
The Children's Gallery of Greece establishes the institution: "Olympiad of Children's Painting" in Greece, Cyprus and in the countries of the Greek community, organizing the
1st Children's Painting Olympiad 2018-2019 and invites all Greek children around the globe to create works embracing the history of our country, taught by her heroic achievements and embracing her universal values.
