Moriguchi Child Development Lab

The Moriguchi Child Development Lab is located at Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University, Kyoto, and is under the direction of Dr. Yusuke Moriguchi. We examine infants and children's cognitive, social, and brain development, mainly focusing on self-control (executive function)  and imagination (imaginary companion, theory of mind, communicative skills). We utilize behavioral observations, behavioral experiments, eye-tracking methods, physiological indices, neuroimaging (mainly NIRS, and sometimes fMRI), and cross-cultural comparisons.

Our lab is quite new and has started at 1st, April 2016 (April Fools' Day, but its's true). We are very welcome to anyone who is interested in our lab from all over the world.
