Director Information

Mr. Reynolds teaches 5-8 grade band lessons in the Octorara Area School District. Prior to working at Octorara Mr. Reynolds taught in the Brandywine School District in Claymont, DE. While in Delaware Mr. Reynolds taught 4-6 grade general music, chorus, select choir, band lessons and helped to start the String Program at Claymont Elementary. Mr. Reynolds joined the music department at Octorara in 2006 and teaches 5-6 grade band and Jazz Band, 7-8 grade small ensemble lessons, and is the Assistant high school marching band director, as well as co-director of the high school Pep Band.

When not at school Mr. Reynolds plays trumpet with the Immaculata Symphony, where is also president of the orchestra. Mr. Reynolds also plays trumpet with the Chester County Pops, and has played with the Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds, and for many high school musicals. Mr. Reynolds earned his Bachelor degree in music education from West Chester University in 2002. In 2006 Mr. Reynolds graduated from Wilmington University with a Masters in Education.

Mr. Reynolds has been working as a volunteer with the Chester County Youth Wind Ensemble since 2014 and was brought on as a director in 2016.

Mr. Fegley has taught elementary and middle school band in numerous school districts throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Since 2005, he has been Director of Bands at Hillendale and Unionville Elementary Schools in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Mr. Fegley graduated cum laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. He completed his Master of Music in Conducting from the American Band College at Southern Oregon University in August 2006.Mr. Fegley is also an active concert percussionist in the Chester County area. He is principal percussionist and timpanist with the Chester County Pops Orchestra and a section percussionist with the New Holland Band. He also plays regularly for many area high school musicals.Mr. Fegley was invited to co-direct the Chester County Youth Wind Ensemble in 2017.
