CHERITON VILLAGE HALL
Charges for the Hire of Cheriton Village Hall from 1 April 2020
Charges are calculated per session (or part of) and include the cost of heating and electricity as well as the use of tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery.
Morning Session: 0830-1330hrs
Afternoon Session: 1330-1830hrs
Evening Session: 1830-2330hrs
Notes:
1. The hall, kitchen and toilets must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Floors must be brushed/vacuumed and all food and rubbish removed from the premises. All breakages and losses will be charged at replacement value. See also 'Conditions and General Hall Information' page.
2. All children’s parties require at least 1 parent/responsible adult to be present throughout. The hall can be hired for teenage parties but this is ENTIRELY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMMITTEE and will require 2 parents/ responsible adults to remain on the premises throughout.
3. A deposit of £200.00 (payable in advance) is required for any party involving teenagers or where the person making the booking is not known locally. Deposits for other bookings may be charged at the committee's discretion.
4. Tables and chairs can only be hired by Cheriton residents for private use. Bulk hire for commercial purposes is not available. Tables and chairs MUST be returned immediately after the event to ensure they are available for use the following day. N.B. if rubber feet to the chairs are missing, they will be charged at £1 each.

Cheriton Village Hall Committee reserves the right to refuse any hiring, to demand payment in advance, or to vary charges at its discretion.
