Research Topics
My research interests include a variety of topics from wireless communication networks to resource allocation, network optimization, network economics and game theory.
I investigate these areas by developing mathematical models to analyze existing systems and meanwhile try to improve the performance of the systems with better operating mechanisms or schemes. For this I mainly apply the techniques from communications theory, optimization, quantitative analytics, algorithms design and game theory.
Currently I'm working on the specific research topics introduced as follows.
Applying distributed interference pricing to power control in wireless networks together with cooperation schemes between neighbor transmitters.
2. The interaction of investment, pricing, spectrum allocation, spectrum policy and service competition in heterogeneous wireless networks with monopoly or competitive service provider(s).
3. Coexistence between LTE and WiFi in unlicensed spectrum.
4. 60GHz Communication Networks, like the ongoing next generation 60GHz task group IEEE 802.11ay.
