The University at Buffalo is located in Amherst, NY a suburb just north of Buffalo. Buffalo is centrally located within a short drive of many major US and Canadian cities.

Other Options
Bus
Megabus- Inexpensive (prices ranging from as low as $1/one-way) to and from downtown Buffalo bus terminal and to the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport.
Greyhound- Prices vary, has a larger travel network than Megabus.
Train
Amtrak- Buffalo is serviced by two (2) Amtrak stations, both approximately 10 miles from campus.
Air
The regional airport is the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport (Airport code: BUF) which includes most major airlines.
Parking
GSS 2025will be hosted in the Natural Sciences Complex and Talbert Hall. Parking is available in Cooke A and Cooke B lots during the day, no permit is required for our event.
