Arpita Chatterjee
I recently started as a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Board. I worked as an associate professor of economics at University of New South Wales for many years. I was also an associate professor of economics at Indian Institute of Managaement Bangalore for two years.. I completed B. Sc. from Presidency College (Calcutta) in 2003 and M.S. in Quantitative Economics from Indian Statistical Institute (Calcutta) in 2005. I did PhD in economics from Princeton University in 2010. My research fields are international economics, macroeconomics and applied econometrics. I am interested in applied and theoretical research on macroeconomic (human capital, monetary, institutional) policies for both advanced and emerging countries and how these policies interact with globalization.
