Welcome to my website.

I work with all aspects of anxiety and depression, both in young adults (18+) and the more mature. My particular area of interest is working on what might unconsciously lie beneath what you are currently feeling. In short, this means focussing on how you feel today, but also taking into account your past relationships and experiences, including your childhood. So often this can impact on our thoughts, feelings and behaviour, sometimes surfacing many years later.

I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, and I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs. In addition to private practice I have worked in a variety of settings - as a Women's Health Counsellor in two NHS hospitals, in a busy GP practice, and as a Student Counsellor in a London performance art university.

Through my experience of listening to clients with a diverse range of psychological and emotional difficulties, I believe that talking really does help.

I can also offer help to trainee counsellors, either with ongoing therapy or discussion about the more emotional and/or theoretical aspects of the training.

I work from two private practice rooms. One is based in Muswell Hill, Haringey N10; the other is at the Queen Anne Street Practice in central London (W1). My practice rooms offer a peaceful, warm, safe and confidential setting, where you are free to speak in confidence without fear of being judged or criticised.

If you would like to discuss an appointment, or ask any further questions, you are very welcome to phone or email me. I will call you back as soon as I can.
