I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, and I offer both short-term counselling and longer term, open-ended psychotherapy, depending on your needs.

I work with all aspects of anxiety and/or depression. These can be as a result of, for example, loss, family and/or relationship breakdown, medical issues, identity or struggles in the workplace.

My work as a University counsellor for 10 years encompassed many issues affecting young (but also older) people today, including body and/or gender dysphoria, body dysmorphia, perfectionism and procrastination, transitioning, social anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders and performance anxiety (work, social or sexually associated).

I also worked within a GP practice, and as a perinatal NHS Women's Health Counsellor which encompassed ante- and post-natal depression, alongside all issues associated with pregnancy and birth, including miscarriage, termination and foetal abnormality.

Issues that arise in my work are many and complex, but through my experience of listening to clients with a diverse range of psychological and emotional difficulties, I believe that talking things through with a trained professional really can help you to begin to find new ways to cope.

You are welcome to come and see me in my private practice. I work from my consulting room in Finsbury Park/Stroud Green area. My practice offers a warm, safe and confidential setting, where you are free to speak in confidence without fear of being judged or criticised.

Therapy for Trainees

I can offer help to trainee counsellors, either with ongoing therapy, or discussion about the more emotional and/or theoretical aspects of the training. 

Supervision

I am a WPF-trained supervisor and offer supervision sessions online..
