Born in Kavalappara, Bhoodan Colony, Malappuram, Kerala, India in 1983, I currently reside in Chelmsford, U.K., with my wife, Ambily Jose, and our son, Delvin Dominic. Commencing my academic journey, I earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Mysore, India, in 2011, establishing a strong foundation in the field. Subsequently, I served as a lecturer at the National Institute of Technology Calicut from 2010 to 2012 and later as an assistant professor at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology in Cochin, Kerala. I expanded my horizons by serving as a postdoctoral fellow in the Cloud Thinking project under the European Union at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. This experience enriched my understanding of the academic landscape and fostered collaborative efforts on an international scale.
Additionally, I held the position of Assistant Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) where I played a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring two Ph.D. scholars to successful completion of their doctoral degrees. Following this, I contributed as a Fixed Term Teacher at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Essex, U.K., further honing my expertise.
My research focus spans diverse areas, including graph colorings, cop-robber games in graphs, and the zero forcing number of a graph. I take pride in my extensive contribution to academia, with over 35 research papers published in esteemed international journals. My commitment to both teaching and research reflects my passion for advancing knowledge and contributing meaningfully to the academic community.
