2023 Christmas in July
What a Holly Jolly Christmas in July weekend we had!!! Thanks to all that provided the Christmas ornament crafts and those who helped organize the craft time. You are greatly appreciated and the kids loved it. Thanks for joining the Polar Express train ride and getting your ticket punched. Thanks for stopping in at the Christmas Ball and dancing or just hanging out with your fellow campers. It was fun!
Thank You to our neighbors for being judges last night for the site decorating contest. We appreciate you!!! And the winner is...Doug Hartger!!! For the 2nd year in a row. Doug loves making you all smile and bringing joy by showing his creative side when decorating for Christmas in July. He didn't disappoint us! Well done Doug!Â

2023 4th of July
What an incredible 4th of July weekend! The bike parade was a FANTASTIC turnout! The best yet! Thank you all that showed thier spirit, decorating bikes, golf carts and themselves! It was so much FUN! And the firework show was the best show yet too! From beginning to end it was unforgettable. Thank you Darwin and crew for the wonderful show and the beautiful reminder to thank our veterans for our freedom. It was surely a firework show we will never forget. INCREDIBLE!!!!

2023 Cornhole and    Horseshoe Tournament
What a great start to the 4th of July holiday weekend! Thank you Pat, Chris, and Tyler for organizing the cornhole tournament. There were 22 teams that played on Saturday including in the Kid's, Family and Competitive divisions. So fun! We also had 6 teams that entered the horseshoe tournament. Also, thank you Jon and Pat Brower and Crew for grilling hot dogs and making refreshing snow cones on such a muggy day!Â
Congrats to Shawn and Lauri for winning the horseshoe tournament! Great job getting ringers Andrea and Sara!

2023 Camper Appreciation Luau
THANK YOU campers! The Camper Appreciation dinner Hawaiian Luau was so much FUN! Good food and GREAT fellowship. We appreciate you all more than you will ever know. We are so blessed. Thank you all for your kindness and support! Thank You Blauwkamps for roasting a delicious pig for us. It was wonderful! Thank You Doug and Jan for the beautiful benches. The benches will be up by the office. Come on over to the office and try them out. Thank you to ALL the campers that helped make the Luau a success. The decorations were fantastic!Â

Campground Carnival 2023
What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Memorial Weekend! The weather was amazing and so was the fellowship. Thanks to ALL that made the Campground Carnival a success. It was so much FUN!
We watched many of you fishing, swimming, and just relaxing by a fire or watching the sunset this weekend. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!Â

Mother's Day 2023
What a lovely weekend. The Mother's Day Tea Party was so fun. We had a beautiful group of ladies and young ladies join us for hot tea, sweet peach tea, lemonade and treats. We also listened to some great stories read by Grandma VK. Miss Abby led the ladies through creating incredibly beautiful card for Mother's Day! Happy Mothers Day!

Cardboard Boat Race and Drive in Movie
Our 2022 Cardboard boat race winners: 1st place- Dave and Tim, 2nd place- Ian and Kyle, 3rd place- Olivia and Brittany.
After our cardboard boat race, we finished the evening with some beach balls, snacks, and a drive in movie night.

An Aerial ViewÂ
Lee and Tina received aerial photographs of the campground. Photographs were taken by Chris Jacobs. Chris and his wife, Courtney, gifted the photographs to Lee and Tina for their continuing to support of family values at the campground.

4th of July
Tons of fun and activities fat Chapel in The Pines Family Campground LLC this weekend! Some of the fun included the cornhole tournament, refreshing snowcones, honoring Veterans, a parade, and the amazing firework show! A special thank you to Brian and Norma Haveman for all their hard work in planning so many fun activities and making special memories for all. Thank you Darwin and team for the amazing firework show. It was a spectacular show with great emphasis on paying respect to our veterans and being thankful for our freedom. Thank you all for a fun weekend and for your continued support!

Fishing Tournament & Father's Day
We had our annual fishing tournament. The Meyering’s took 3rd (Brandon and Charlotte), the Poole’s (Kyle and Ian…neither pictured) took 2nd and the CHAMPS….the Carruthers (Pat and Aaron) took 1st! Congrats to all that participated.Â
We also had a lot of kids working on making their father a perfect Father's Day Card.

2022 Camper Appreciation and Tractor Show
Campers were treated to a pig roast and Luau Friday evening. Followed Saturday by a pancake breakfast, tractor parade, tractor show, and a tractor craft.
