Many villages in the New Territories have a "village community house".Â
Those that don't have one might not had/have the space/land or finances to built one. Another reason could be that those living in the village haven't been able to agree on building one.
Chan Uk Village, will actually a "community house" this year, 2015.
The ground breaking ceremony was held December 23, 2014. The same day this website was started. There had been to much "planning and talking" so it was a great incentive to finally get this website going.
