Chan Uk Village, Shuen Wan, Tai Po.
Chan Uk Village Shuen Wan" is also known as "Chan Uk Tsuen Shuen Wan ". "Tsuen" being the way "village" is pronounced in Cantonese/Hakka.
It is located right on the NW shore of Plover Cove, next to "Sha Lan Village".
The village has got a long history, possibly established back as long as 200 years ago.
As time moves on, and the younger and new generations tend to move away, it will become more and more difficult to chronicle the village's history.
Through this website, and the village's FaceBook page, I hope Chan Uk Village Shuen Wan's history can be "put on record".
All those with roots here, and those moving in from elsewhere, can get finally get to know the Chan Uk Village.
