Biography
Changsheng Chen received his bachelor's degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008 and his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral research associate with the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He joined Shenzhen University in 2016 and moved to Shenzhen MSU-BIT University in 2025, where he is currently a professor and Ph.D. supervisor.
His research interests include multimedia forensics, document image security, anti-recapture techniques for QR codes, and face presentation attack detection. He was selected for the 2026 Guangdong Special Support Program for Young Top-Notch Talents. His honors include the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award of the China Society of Image and Graphics (2024), the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award under the Ministry of Education's Outstanding Achievement Awards in Scientific Research (Science and Technology) (2022), and the First Prize of the Outstanding Paper Award of the Guangdong Computer Academy (2024).
He has served as principal investigator for three National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and two provincial/ministerial-level projects, and has led multiple industry-sponsored projects with Tencent and Alibaba. The resulting technologies have been deployed in enterprise security review systems.
He serves as an Associate Editor / Editorial Board Member for IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing (TDSC). He is a Senior Member of IEEE, CCF, and CSIG. He is also a committee member of the CSIG Technical Committee on Digital Media Forensics and Security and the CSIG Technical Committee on Document Analysis and Recognition, as well as a council member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Society of Image and Graphics.
