What an incredible little bike this has turned out to be. Certainly not very popular in North America probably because of its small 100cc two stroke single and relatively small size. This bike has served the family well.
Originally bought by my mother to ride with my dad (who saw fit to by a much bigger Yamaha XS 650) this bike has been ridden by three generations. My two younger brothers have used to it get their licences with and so has my wife, my son and even my brother's son has used it to learn how to ride. As of today, the bike is still in the family's possession in Ottawa but there is a possibility that the bike will eventually find its place in a museum. Hopefully that will be the case. I suppose the biggest miracle with this bike is that for the last 36 years, all but regular maintenance items are original. That speaks volumes!
Once again, old technology hold its head up against new. This lttle bike, although not a blister in acceleration, I could be driven on the highyway with speeds up to 70mph, even with two up.
