The inaugural Central US Synthetic Biology Workshop is now complete!

@Northwestern University on September 6th and 7th, 2018

Our goal was to create a recurring workshop that brings together synthetic biology researchers and companies from institutions in the Central US. These meetings could help identify areas where we could work across groups, and between academia, industry, and government, on moonshot research opportunities and to foster the emergence of a vibrant synthetic biology bioeconomy in the Central US.

Thanks to everyone who made the inaugural workshop a great success! Given the outstanding enthusiasm and attendance for this event, we are thrilled to announce that the Central US Synthetic Biology Workshop will be held again in 2019 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. More information will be posted soon at:

We hope to see you all next year!
