Full-Time Jobs
2023 - 2025 Huawei Lund, Sweden
Senior AI Researcher (Contract role. Completed in March 2025)
Led AI research for 6G wireless systems, focusing on semantic communication for multimedia transmission. Developed a method reducing image degradation under channel errors from 20% to 3%. See the outputs.
Built neural audio codecs (NACs) using transformer-based AI models for low-bitrate audio transmission over unreliable wireless links.
Designed resource-efficient communication frameworks by coordinating small language models (SLMs) on edge devices with large language models (LLMs) in the cloud — enabling dynamic routing and collaboration based on channel quality and input complexity.
Engaged with hardware engineers to assess implementation complexity of AI models, including latency and resource considerations. Discussed future directions such as hybrid mobile–cloud deployment for scalable AI in wireless systems.
