Meet James and Holly Jester :
Hi, my name is James Jester. I grew up in Balch Springs TX a little town just south of Mesquite. Had two wonderful parents, James and Francis. My Mom and Dad had a huge influence on me. My Mom who was a homemaker and my dad worked for the city of Dallas. I was taught Christian values but did not attend church on a regular basis. This was mostly due to my Mom be diagnosed with osteolysis in both her legs and hips. This made it very difficult for her. I never saw her walk without crutches and after I turned 12 or 13 she was refined to a wheelchair.
This did not stop her or my Dad from teaching me about Christ and instilling good morals and values. Well I'll be honest I wasn't the best student. But lucky for me they never gave up on me. Neither did Christ. After many trials and some very rocky roads. The Lord led me to Holly, my wife of 17 years. He blessed me with 5 wonderful children and 13 grandchildren.
God allowed me to be a cowboy, as well as having to work a day job to finance that habit. I’ve had a long time passion for cooking and a desire to operate a working chuck wagon. Combined that with a calling to minister, which I argued with the Lord about, and lost that argument.
Here we are today my whole family and I ministering, cooking and spreading the love of our savior Jesus Christ. I cannot recall a time in my life when I was happier and more content than I am today. I look forward to meeting everyone, hope to get to cook for y'all, share my knowledge of cattle drives and chuck wagons. But most of all my love for the Lord and his love for each one of us.
