By train: Lots of trains from Venezia and Udine, Eurostar from Milano and Roma and Cisalpino from Switzerland at the Central Railway Station. Train schedules and fares can be found at www.ferroviedellostato.it. Additionally, trains from Ljubljana, Maribor, Budapest and Zagreb (Euronight) at the Villa Opicina Station, from where you can travel to central Trieste by the tram or by bus #42.
By plane: the closest airport is Ronchi dei Legionari (TRS) from which you can take bus #51 to the Central Bus Station. From the airport, you can also take a taxi to the city center (50-60 EUR). Alternatively, you can land in Venezia Marco Polo (VCE) or Ljubljana (LJU).
By car: Trieste is located at the end of A4 Torino-Milano-Venezia-Trieste highway.

Bus #38 leaves from via Galatti next to "Piazza Oberdan" (just on the rear of the streetcar station) and the last stop is directly
in front of the new SISSA (Sanatorio). The part of the bus #38 schedule relavant to arrive to the tutorial in time is:
7am,7.30am,8am,8.20am,8.40am,9am,9.20am,9.40am. The trip to Sissa lasts 15-20 mins.
Alternatively, you can take bus #4 or streetcar #2, get off at the obelisk and walk 5-10 mins downhill along via Bonomea.
The bus #4 has a stop very close to the "Casa dello studente". In the morning you can find scheduled buses at:
7.05am,7.15am,7.25am,7.35am,7.50am,8.20am,8.35am,9.05am,9.35am. They leave from piazza Oberdan and arrive at the
Casa dello studente (universita') in few minuts.
You can buy a 10 trips ticket for 9.90 EUR; ask for a "biglietto del bus da dieci corse"
