For each lesson, you need the adequate material (see the Material page) ready when the bell rings.
In case you fail to be ready on time, you may not be allowed to stay.
What kind of homework will you get?
- revising
- learning vocabulary (oral and written)
- doing various exercises
- handing in a text, a review, a document with pictures...
- bringing pictures, ads, ...
- online research and practice
- oral presentations
Even if it doesn't look like homework, it always is!
If you fail to present your homework, you may not be allowed to stay.
N.B. : homework may be collected or checked to be marked. In this case and if you fail to present it, you will get the mark 1.
How are you expected to behave in class?
First, you need to be ready on time.
Second, you must have your material with you.
Third, everybody is encouraged to express themselves. Raise your hand and wait until you're told so to speak. Don't interrupt your classmates or the teacher. Use English only! However, you're allowed to ask for the possibility to speak French if it's necessary.
In special rooms (IT room or language lab), you are expected to respect all the above rules plus the ones specific to these rooms. If you fail to do so, you will have to get out and I may even decide to give up this kind of activities for the whole class.
How are you going to get the fun?
Well, by respecting all the above rules!
This ensures a pleasant, respectful and relaxed working atmosphere, where every student feels free to talk and express their opinion.
A good laugh is welcome and jokes are encouraged as well.
