I'm Silviu Constantin and this is my "little cave on the Web".

I am a Romanian geologist and spelologist currently working with the "Emil Racovita" Institute of Speleology in Bucharest, Romania. I have many research interests but most of them are related to caves and karst.

Since you are here, you may already know some things about me. This page is to keep you up to date with what I'm currently doing, what I've been up to so far, and what are my plans and projects.

Please feel free to look around. I'll try to update this page regularly and make it as informative as possible, perhaps also add some add some "side passages" to the "cave"... The main purpose of this site is to host professional, scientific, explorative and other "serious stuff", but, since I also have many "not-so-serious" interests, you might also find those hidden somewhere around... Hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do.
