About the class
This course is taught to Business Administration students. It helps prepare students of the course to face communication challenges in professional environments that they aspire to involve themselves in. The course emphasizes experiential learning based on both individual and team work which includes in-class activities, presentations and active discussions on cutting edge ideas in business.
The course assumes a more corporate communication style but emphasizes building general communication strengths that can be carried into any working or social environment.
The evaluation plan is as follows:
40% Assignments
20% Quizzes
30% Presentations and group activity
10% Participation

ASSIGNMENT: You will have one main assignment this semester, which is Project Company! Your goal is to create and execute a business. You will be evaluated on the process of establishing and running your company, and not on your profit margin.
