Questions and Answers 

How do we schedule our service? 

We'll arrange a visit at your home in order to get acquainted with your pet, discuss and determine rates and payment terms, and make a specific list of things to do on each visit to your home.  We'll also need to make arrangements for getting access to your home, whether it be by a key or an access code.

What are our typical costs? 

Our usual visit in your home will be 45 minutes and will typically cost $20.00.  That presumes that our drive time to your home location won't exceed fifteen minutes.  We think you will find that these rates are comparable to what you would need to pay for boarding your pet in a small confined environment.

What method of payment do we accept? 

Our preference is cash payment at the time we commence the agreed service.  Personal check is acceptable if we receive that at the time service is scheduled.  The first time that we provide service for a new client, we need to receive your check one business day in advance of beginning the service to allow the check to clear at your bank.  

What if we have dogs? 

Dogs generally require more than one daily visit.  Two visits a day could be sufficient when appropriately spaced, and if the dogs have a pet door to an outside confined area where they can go and do their business.  One of the daily visits would include walking your dog on its familiar route; the other would probably suffice if we take time to play with your dog in its own back yard.  We would, of course, make sure that your dog(s) is properly fed and provided with water.  You might also want to consider us staying in your home overnight and most of the daytime hours - that  service typically costs a little more than two separate visits during the day.
