The Jewel on the Hill

Behind the main Plaza of the magical village of Sayulita is the hill known as Monte Calvario. From the top of the hill Casa Chango has sweeping views north to the ocean, and west and south to the jungle and the hills, including Monkey Mountain, which is the inspiration for the name.

The beach is an easy 600 meter (yard) or 10 minute walk down a picturesque cobbled stone road, through the beautiful town plaza.
