Dave Nelson

Dave Nelson
, founder of Carpenter's Cross, plays rhythym guitar and provides many of the lead vocals for the band's songs. Dave is a member of Family Of Christ Lutheran Church where he serves by playing with the praise team. Dave has been playing and singing for over 35 years. His musical influences range from rock, country and Celtic music to contemporary Christian artists such as Casting Crowns, Charlie Hall and Todd Agnew. Dave is driven man whose love of praising God in music comes though in every note he plays.

Clark McCombs

On lead guitar and vocals is 
Clark McCombs. Clark is a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church and is the director of their praise band, Jubilee. He also serves on Session and is active in Outreach activities within the community. Clark has been playing and singing for over 40 years and draws on his background in rock, blues, folk and jazz to create dynamic accompaniments for Dave's lively interpretations.

Kerr Moyer

On bass is 
Kerr Moyer. Kerr is a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church where he has served as an Elder and as a Deacon. He plays bass with Clark in the church's praise band, Jubilee. Kerr has been playing for over 30 years, starting out on guitar and later switching over to bass. His great love of '60's and '70's rock and roll is a strong influence on his playing style.

Dan Mish
 plays drums and percussion. Dan is the only drummer in a large family of vocal and instrumental musicians. He began playing jazz and blues professionally at the age of 16, but was distracted by a job as a resident musician at Fort Mackinac, where he learned to play traditional fife and bagpipe. He has played a wide variety of styles from punk to polka and was a member of a North American champion pipe band drum corps. He is a proud member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic ChurchThe Quarry Dogs and plays guitar on a regular basis with musicians in the Cursillo Movement.

Kyleigh Pierre

Kyleigh Pierre joined the band in 2014, and brings soaring vocals to the music of Carpenter's Cross. With over a decade of experience singing with worship teams and the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus, Kyleigh adds a unique exuberance to the bands' songs and message.
