I am currently a Linguist at Google working on generative AI. I received my PhD in Linguistics from MIT in September of 2020. My dissertation, The Structure of Attitude Reports: Representing Context in Grammar, analyzed the syntactic representation of discourse properties based on fieldwork on Tigrinya (Semitic), Ewe (Gbe), and Malayalam (Dravidian).

I'm also interested in data management for linguistic fieldwork, and have been developing a web app to help fieldworkers store and search data using MongoDB, a NoSQL database. You can view a beta version here and the GitHub page here.
