About me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Political Science at St. Catherine University. I received my PhD from the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. My degree fields were development economics and policy analysis. My dissertation examined a number of issues in development economics in the Middle East and North Africa, including the returns to schooling and skills, the impact of employment on fertility, and the factors that mediate socio-economic inequality in child health. Before starting the PhD I received my master's in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
