Dr. Pulido has been conducting addictions research with adolescents and young adults for over 14 years. She completed her Doctoral degree at the San Diego State University (SDSU)/ University of California San Diego (UCSD) Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, where she conducted research with SDSU and UCSD college students and with adolescents through Dr. Tapert’s Adolescent Brain Imaging Project. Dr. Pulido received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, in 2008.
Dr. Pulido completed training at the San Diego VA Medical Center in the Neuropsychology Assessment Unit and Substance and Mental Illness (SAMI) clinic. She completed her clinical internship at San Diego Kaiser Permanente where she provided bilingual services. Further training included providing neuropsychological services to veterans attending SAMI and neuropsychological assessments at the UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center, where she conducted assessments in Spanish and English.
Dr. Pulido is currently working in the development and deployment of a Behavioral Health Program for former U.S. NASA Astronauts and Payload Specialists.
