Painting has been a significant part of me...for most of my adult life. It has introduced me to some of my best friends, encouraged me to go to interesting places to sketch, taught me to "see" and "appreciate" the world through a painter's perspective, and given me hundreds of hours of pleasure and entertainment.

I create a hand painted watercolour illustrated Journal of your event and leave room for your commentary. It is more personal than a photo album. A unique record of the whole wonderful event
Your journal book can be made with the artist painting on site during the event, or from photos of the event.

I have explored oils, acrylics and have recently settled on watercolour as my medium of choice. I just love the unpredictability as water, paint and paper meet. I love how it paints itself if you let it. It can be unforgiving and at the same time magical. I like painting landscapes, seascapes, buildings, flowers.

This is a SKILLS CLASS….
A basic beginner’s kit is available for purchase for the watercolour and journal classes. The photo shows the contents of the kit and is $50.

It also gives me an opportunity to “see” the places I travel to in a much deeper connection.
