WHAT IS COUNSELLING ?
Counselling is a talking therapy which allows a person to talk about problems and feelings in confidence.
Therapists are trained to listen with empathy, to help deal with negative thoughts and feelings. To talk about difficult and painful feelings/situations, to help the client cope and deal with them, to understand worries and fears and reach a positive solution.
