Pro-car myths

Here are eight myths that I've encountered that further the use of cars. I've written posts debunking some of them, and other people have debunked others. I'll add links as I get them. Email me if you want to suggest a link.

1. Mobility is access. No, they are not the same, and we can't afford to provide universal mobility. Access is more important than mobility.

4. Big detached houses on large lots are upward mobility

5. Pro-car is pro union, teacher or worker

6. Pro-car is pro nature

7. Parking is freedom

8. Parking is revenue
