Volunteer Hours

Starting July 2021 all volunteer hours are to be entered into an on line form.

INTERNS:  Forty total volunteer hours are required in the first year after class completion in order to be certified. 

AFTER CERTIFICATION: Thirty total volunteer hours are required yearly.  At least 10 continuing education and at least 30 "Required Community Service" (see below).

The following projects are the “Required Community Service”. Hours for the Required Community Service" projects can be obtained in one or more of these projects.

• • Reforest Frankfort / Arbor Day (April)

  • Farm-City Field Day (July)

  • County Fair and Flower Show (July)

  • Landscape projects at the County Extension Office and Office Assistance

  • Instructional / Educational Activities to the public

  • Horticulture booth staffing

  • CAMG fundraising projects

Everyone is responsible for keeping track of their own hours. Contact Adam for a link to the on-line form to enter your hours.

 Yes, we need your hours even after you reach your 30.  Adam counts all your hours for his records.
