Advance your academic profile by joining a collaborative academic writing workshop.
Participate in a team-writing event with a select group of academics for a 2-week immersive exploration of professional development in community-higher education partnerships.
How it works
The project involves developing individual case studies in integrated service learning and professional development using the WHOLE model described at the bottom of this page. In week two we gather in groups of three or four, and co-author a comparative study of our selected cases. The target outcome is the submission of a paper to an open academic journal.
Why Participate?
✓ Master the WHOLE model of integrated service-learning
✓ Collaborate with scholars passionate about equitable partnerships
✓ Adapt frameworks to your local educational context
✓ Develop a publishable article from your research
Workshop Structure
Week 1: Theoretical Foundations, facilitated by Dr Karen Venter and Prof Johannes Cronje
