#02 February 2018 Campout 02/16 - 02/19

This THREE day weekend will be cooking, honing our scout skills, and a “friendly patrol competion, and having a fun weekend! Friday night we'll arrive, get our gear unloaded, and set up. Saturday we'll have breakfast, get right into working a bunch of stations set up with scout skills activities to practice up for the big competition, head back to the cabin for lunch, back out to hit a few more stations…and get more practice…, and then head back for dinner! Sunday we’ll have breakfast, one last practice run through the stations, have lunch at the cabin. Sunday afternoon is the BIG PATROL COMPETITION, head back for a special dinner and awards presentation!! Monday, we’ll have breakfast, break camp, and head home, probably arriving back in Canton around noon. During our adventures Scouts should “Be Prepared” to hone their scout craft skills. These skills may include: scout skills in general, orienteering, pioneering, fire making, possibly some archery, trail cooking, camp cooking, etc. having fun, and some rank advancement while we’re relaxing at the beach and campsite, etc. THIS WILL BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNGER SCOUTS TO ACCELERATE THEIR ADVANCEMENT and for OLDER SCOUTS TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE AND INSTRUCT USING THE EDGE METHOD!!!!! DON’T MISS IT! 
Cost: $35 per Scout participant 
Meals: Saturday & Sunday meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and Monday breakfast will be provided.

 THIS PERMISSION SLIP IS DUE JANUARY 7TH, 2018 - ALL SLIPS WILL BE DUE AT THE GREENBAR MEETING THE MONTH BEFORE THE CAMPOUT
