The news is good. To date, we have accomplished our goal. We have 45 members who have committed to the camp moxie lease for the 2015 hunting season and have received funds from all but one member (I expect those when I get up to Potter this weekend). I will be sending FIA Timber Growth Pennsylvania 1 a check for $3,279 later today. This check will provides FIA with the required delinquent payment due by April 20, 2015. In acceptance of these funds, the club has been given until May 18th to provide the balance of $12,368 along with a signed contract. These are our next steps...
1. In this first year, our club will be served by three leadership positions. It has been my goal to have representation from all members. As such, Kurt Shreiner has agreed to serve as Secretary, Joe Brennen has agreed to serve as the member at large, and I will serve as President. In the coming months, we will continue to provide clarity of bylaws, establish a meeting time, and continue clear communication within the club. It is my goal to have a more clear set of bylaws and a membership meeting giving each person a voice. Elections will be a part of this lease in the future.
2. We need to submit a completed "Exhibit B" along with the lease agreement. As such, each member needs to provide their signature. To accomplish this, I am attaching a copy to this email. It can also be found on the lease agreement posted on the website. I will be at my home on Neefe Rd. most weekends. Feel free to stop in and sign there, or please print off a copy, sign it, and send it to me. We can print off as many copies as needed. As soon as I collect all signatures, full payment can be sent to the company. As a reminder, my address is:
